Raised on the jazz-fusion greats — Stanley Clarke, Return to Forever, Herbie Hancock, and Weather Report — he plays bass with the feel those records taught him, then follows the song all the way to the master. Based in Fairfield, California, Sedric records, mixes, and masters his own catalog: one album and six singles, and counting.
He works with other artists the same way he works on his own music — chasing the take, then making the whole thing sit. If you have a record that needs low end, a mix that needs to translate, or a room that needs to sound like your records, that is the work.
